Connor G. Farrell. Currently coaching at divison 1 college, LIU after posting the best faceoff season in NCAA history as a senior. During his final year at the “X”, Farrell won 81.4-percent of his faceoff attempts, the highest mark for a single-season across Divisions I, II, and III. Along with his winning percentage, Farrell set a new Division II single-season record with 16.75 ground balls per game. His best performance of the season led LIU to a victory against No. 1-ranked Merrimack College when he won 34-of-37 faceoff attempts and recorded 30 ground balls, setting Division II NCAA single-game records with both marks.  

After his record-setting senior season, Farrell was drafted by the New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse and Chrome Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League. The Holtsville native signed with Chrome LC and quickly became a fan favorite across the league. Farrell appeared in all 10 games with Chrome this season, tallying a 54.5-percent winning percentage on faceoffs and adding two points on one goal and one assist.

After earning the nickname "Thor" in the PLL, Farrell created Thor's Faceoff Training, a program dedicated to teaching youth and high school lacrosse faceoff specialists. He continues to run the program outside of his coaching and professional career
